Very effective yet easy to perform.
A card is selected and lost in the deck. The magician says he will spell to the card. He gives an example. He names a random card, and spells to it, dealing one card at a time. Sure enough, he arrives at that card. He then begins to spell to the selected card, and magically, it spells exactly to it.
